In the picture above: Look at the largest "cut out" towards the center of the control you will see how the control mounts to the handlebar & how the wires & hoses are all routed directly into the ID (inner diameter) of the bar stock. This method allows for a simple "plumb job" of the controls onto the handlebars. The "clear tubing" you see is a visual representation of what would normally be the handlebar. No neck-downs, no dimples - easy & clean! It also shows the master cylinder piston & spring and the dual-cable internal throttle just to the right.
